I’m not a blogger

I wish I was a better gluten-free blogger. Let’s face it, I’m not a chef, nor a photographer, I’m a decent writer, but I do make really, really good natural beauty products.

My first gluten-free site ever was A site I set up to help share with other what I was finding to be the best/most effective in natural and gluten-free personal care products. At the time there were few of us bloggers who were contacting manufacturers and spreading the word. But I also always made sure that the products I was weeding out as my favs–i.e. the ones I really used every day were also free of many harmful natural and synthetic ingredients.

It was 2008 when I finally decided to take matters into my own hands. I had been studying and researching like mad for years, I had taken classes, read books, then finally I began to experiment. I launched Gluten Free Beauty with one product, the Facial Moisture Serum, because I couldn’t find a natural, gluten-free moisturizer that was hydrating enough for my dry cheeks, balancing enough for my forehead, anti-aging for my developing lines and free of natural ingredients that are far overused in my opinion (like Lavender which is an allergen to many).

Gluten Free Beauty has carved out a nice little nice space in the market as a gluten-free skin care line. But I do have other dreams, dreams that will take me to QVC someday (I hope!). Gluten Free Beauty’s not going anywhere, but I’ve developed a makeup system that is so amazing, so universal that I had to give it its own brand name, intuitive COLOR.

intuitive COLOR is a high performance makeup like anything you could find in a department store, only it won’t leave your face feeling cakey or heavy with makeup. It is formulated with only natural and mineral ingredients, but it’s nourishing and smoothing to the skin, unlike mineral makeup. And here’s the most important part, it’s even better for you. Mineral makeup revolutionized the way we think of cosmetics in the late 1990s, but it is time for another innovation, an evolution to something that is better looking, feeling and for your overall health.

The gluten-free community is a loving and supportive one, and I so appreciate your time and attention. If you believe in my passion for creating better makeup, and that it’s time for a  change, please visit my project on Indiegogo. Pledge if you can, or share the link, or tweet about it. Any help will be so, so greatly appreciated.

Kristen Campbell and her "wonder dog" Waylon are both severely intolerant to gluten. Celiac? Perhaps. But they've never had the endoscopy to tell (human or dog--does that exist?). Fortunately, they found each other! When Kristen isn't busy at work, she loves mixing up natural, gluten-free beauty products under her self titled line, spending time with her favorite "wonder dog" and catching up with friends.
