
As some of you may know, in just a few short weeks we will be moving cross country. But before we say farewell to California, I’ve planned to host a table at the Draeger’s Blackhawk Gluten-Free Club Kick-Off, which is sure to be one great gluten-free event!
Draeger’s Market, known for having “the most extensive selection of gluten-free products in the Bay Area” is hosting a grand day of gluten-free samples, baking demonstrations and amazing appearances by the following gluten-free experts:
- Elaine Taylor: President and Co-Founder of The Taylor Family Foundation and The Taylor Foundation Celiac Camp at Camp Arroyo.
- Katie Taylor: Founder of Miglet’s Gluten-Free Bakery, gluten-free baking expert and part of The Taylor Family Foundation.
- Jacqueline Mallorca: Author of several cookbooks including The Wheat-Free Cook, upcoming cookbook Gluten-Free Italian, and creator of the first ever Williams-Sonoma catalog.
- Dr. Vikki Petersen: Founder of the innovative HealthNOW Medical Center, author of the acclaimed book The Gluten Effect and GFF’s Dr. Gluten.
- Kristen Campbell: Author/Creator of leading gluten-free beauty site NaturallyDahling.com and Author/Co-Founder of GlutenFreeFox.com.
Taylor and I will be sad to leave California, as it has been a good home to us, and to the newest member of our family–the gluten-free dog–Waylon. But we are very excited to be closer to home and to embrace all that the gorgeous state of North Carolina has to offer–we also hear there’s a pretty good gluten-free scene around the east coast!
