Is It Really Gluten-Free? A Dog Food Investigation, Part II

My search for a gluten-free dog food continues.

This week I received samples of Flint River Ranch's Lamb, Millet and Rice Adult Dog Food. While this product is not specifically marketed on FRRCO.com as "grain free" or "gluten free," it is referred to as such elsewhere. This food was actually referred to me by the distributor as well as by a friend. And while a quick survey of the ingredients will leave you confident about the food's quality, the ELISA EZ Gluten Test revlealed that this food is not in Gluten Intolerance in Dogsfact gluten-free.

My search continues. I am expecting Grandma Lucy's Grain Free Truth food tomorrow, and am eager to test that and break Waylon free from his chicken, brown rice and cottage cheese with occasional dollups of Newman's Own Grain Free Canned Dog Food diet.

For the sake of my health (handling the food) and Waylon's, I am determined to find him a gluten-free food.
